Hi Tom:
Replace the so-239 antenna connectors --- first thing to do when you buy the meter.
Kindest regards Jim K9AXN

This is not really a Boatanchor BUT I'm counting on some of you guys
having one of these bridges.
Had trouble getting the SWR down & traced the problem to the SX-100.
When I measure from center conductor to shield I get a dead short. Sent
it back to Diamond and the tech called today to tell me he didn't see
any problems & that it is "Normal" for the center conductor to be
shorted to the shield. Does not make sense to me BUT I'm not an
electronic genius on the subject. If anyone might have an SX-100 around
the shack I would appreciate it if you would reply with your readings on
the coax feed thru measurements that you get.
"Maybe" it's normal & if so would someone please educate me on it? I've
tested 3 other bridges that I have and none of them show any
measurements at all from conductor to shield.
Thanks
Tom
