I'm the original owner and have not been inside of it. The
paperwork I got with it new, does not have a schematic with it. I took
the cover of BUT the "feed thru" is inside a metal box that has 4
compression tabs on it. The top ones I can get to but the bottom ones
are another story. Hense the reason I sent it back to them. Being
shorted makes no sense to me at all. I would guess that if the SX-400
isn't shorted, that would hold true for the SX-100? I just saw that I
also have a Yaesu YS-500 (2 meter bridge) & it also does not show any
reading from conductor to shield. That makes a total of 4 bridges that
have been tested w/no shorts!
