There's a guy who comes to Dayton every year (3 years now) with his
kids selling off his dad's radio parts and those of his dad's buddies,
all SKs. He shows up with pallets of iron, boxes of tubes, and
everything else imaginable. I've hauled home a few large chokes from
him plus other parts. I'm glad he hasn't given up and scrapped it
all. Last time I got a bunch of FT243 and larger ham band crystals
and a Collins mechanical filter from him. The best deals out there
usually come from these estate sales.
