I have found the info I needed.  Many thanks to all that replied.
Received the NOS Philmore cat whisker and galena in today’s mail and as soon 
as I can get to the store and buy some oatmeal I will start building!

If it doesn't have xsistors or tubes is it still a boat anchor?

Looking for some one who has built crystal sets using a cat whisker and
galena (NOT using modern diodes like IN34).

I ant to duplcate a crystal set I built in the 40's. . . .
