You might try what I used when I won a Harley leather jacket that apparently been tanned using urine! 
 
I hung it in the garage for about two years to air out and have won it for about the last 15 years, even though it has seemed to shrink around my body! 
 
You might try the same, hanging each manual up on a coat hanger somewhere the middle of the pages.
