[Boatanchors] Fwd: LM-13 Frequency Meter

All this dialog on frequency meters caused me to go down in the basement to
dig out mine, after being stored for many years and review what I had. It's
a BC-221-AT, including internal AC supply, in fairly nice condition. It
hasn't been turned it on in a long time but I think will check the filter
caps, put it on the variable AC bench supply and see if it still works.

I looked in my files and found a good complete copy of the WAR Department
manual TM 11-300, printed July, 1944. This covers all similar series from
SCR-211-A and BC-221-A models to AL.

I wonder if there are various caps, etc., which are known to be prone to go
bad over time, that should be replaced?

Also, is there any interest or need to scan the 150 page manual and posting
it in the files section, or is a scan available elsewhere for others to use?

Also someone mentioned the power connections, a female bullet connector fits
nice over the pins on the LM. Available at RS, Homedepot, etc.

of just 47Hz.
