[Boatanchors] receiver information needed

I just acquired a Hallicrafers  AN/AAR-7 receiver and know nothing about the quality or performance of the receiver. If any of you
know the quality of reception of the AN/AAAR-7 and the worthiness of ownership of the receiver. I really know little about the  receiver and need a tutorial about it. Thanks and 73, John, K5PGW
