[Boatanchors] Chinese keys...

I regularly run a GO-9, HRO, BC-348Q, Millen 90800, and occasionally run a
Viking Invader and Navigator, Hallicrafters SX-101, National NC-125, Heath
SB-102 and Swan 350. And done with vintage keys as well - a McElroy Navy
bug, a Signal Electric 2KW Navy spark key, a Brelco flameproof, and a Navy
CM-26003 flameproof. Vintage stuff is on the air on CW virtually every day I
am on the air. Nothing like Meir's collection but I sure do have fun.....
however no Chinese keys!

Let's see... Vintage stations I currently have on the air on CW (and some on
AM also) are: 1940 vintage US Navy ATD transmitter with the ARB receiver;
1946 vintage US Navy ART-13B with the R-105/ARR-15 receiver; 1943 vintage US
Army Signal Corps ART-13 with the BC-348Q receiver; 1945 vintage AN/GRC-9 US
Army transmitter/receiver; 1950's vintage Geloso G.222-TR transmitter with
the matching G.4/214 receiver, 1950's vintage Collins 32V2 transmitter with
the National NC-300 receiver; 1960's vintage Soviet Army R-130M CW/AM/SSB
transceiver; 1960's vintage US Army AN/GRC-19 radio station (T-195
transmitter, R-392 receiver); 1960's vintage Warsaw Pact - Czechoslovakian
Army RM-31-M station (RS-41 transmitter and R-4 receiver).
All my military radios have the original Morse key as specified and issued
with the respective radio.
Vintage enough? :-)

It's great to discuss keys but I wonder how many CW ops run vintage CW
gear. My impression is most CW ops consider "vintage" to be an old
key of one type or another and that's where "vintage" begins and ends.
Whenever I fire up the T-50, WRL755 and TO Keyer the hams I work are
usually amazed I'm operating old gear and they're always running some
sort of plastic radio. You'd think CW would be THE mode for vintage
gear but surprisingly, I rarely work anyone running an old class C
rig.
