Ron, there is very thin dental floss that you buy at discount stores.  It 
can be pushed into the tube sockets, just like a pipe cleaner.

I buy them from the Dollar Store.

Any suggestions on how to clean up tube sockets?  Particularly the ceramic 
tube sockets used in the Milsurplus equipment.  I’ve thought about using a 
spray contact cleaner but using a pipe cleaner to give it a little abrasive 
help.
