[Boatanchors] Any old FAA/CAA techs on this list?

We at SMECC  too have  some  questions   and would  love to  find some  
CAA/early FAA employees, or anyone that  might  me i'in the know'.
 
The  BC 640  VHF transmitter  we have is  ..  ecch!  painted brownish, but 
understand that   CAA  did  this.  then we have some sections  that are 
spare  that are blue wrinkle and a few other  colors.
