[Boatanchors] Need magnetic shield for shaded pole motor

All motors operate via changing magnetic fields, so a DC motor isn't a sure fix, but a different motor might produce a slightly smaller problem. It sounds like the problem is a minor one, so that perhaps only a minor improvement is needed. The sheet steel experiment, like the coffee can metal, seems worth trying to see if it helps to any degree. BTW, is the current motor a brushed motor or an induction motor?
