[Boatanchors] Need magnetic shield for shaded pole motor

One has to do a bit of hunting, but perforated or expanded steel mesh is
available.

I erred once again. My mind went in the RF shielding direction. ( I
mentally went into thinking Faraday Shielding.)

Soft steel will definitely work better.

Heavier steel would be even better, however, wrapping a transformer or
shaded pole motor with it then brings heat dissipation into the equation.

Finding expanded mesh steel for use in our hobbies is a pain. Most
suppliers do not want to deal in small sizes or quantities.

It may also be harder to locate also.

The last thing is cannibalization of older radio gear final cages.
These "normally" in older gear, steel.

Later cages are aluminum. Much less effective, although magnetic
properties through eddy current is used still.
