Guys....

I may be able to help you. I also leaped before thinking a while back.
I
picked up a Galaxy III and a Galaxy V. The III is in pretty
good physical condition and the V is not too good a physical condition.
I have a homebrew power supply built for the Galaxy
series that I got when a friend of mine gave me his Galaxy V when he
decided to get out of ham radio. I subsequently
sold the V he gave me, but not the power supply because the buyer wasn't
interested. Subsequently, I bought these III and V
ones with the intention of putting them on the air. However, I have more
projects than time and have wanted to sell them
to someone who could use them for parts or restoration.

I am still interested in selling both of them. I would also be
interested
in selling the homebrew power supply. As you can
imagine, it is kind of heavy because of the transformer iron and filter
caps.

If either of you would like further information to to talk more ...
shoot
me an email and we'll see what we can work out.
