[Boatanchors] WRL Galaxy V power supply needed

The problem is that the power supplies come on the market when no one wants
them. I had one about 4 years back and no one took it until a guy in Texas
thought he could make it work on another brand of transceiver.

Turns out it would not work and, last I know, he still had it, but that was
a long time ago and he is not a member of this list. I took the time to
change the capacitors and check it out and sold it for 25 dollars plus
shipping.

Strange thing those Galaxy power supplies are. The power supplies of the
time will work, but they don't have the HV necessary to really run Galaxy
equipment to full output and maybe not the 6 and 12 volt outputs.

I have been trying to find one also but seems to be more Galaxys
than supplies as some of then would bought new and used mobile
their
whole life...
I have hear the heath kit mobile Power supplies can be made/or adapted
to power these Galaxys.

I leaped before I looked and am now the proud owner of a Galaxy V with a
boatload of tubes on the way. Here's the Homer Simpson moment: I don't
have a power supply for it. Am hoping that someone out there in
Boatanchorlandia can point me to an AC-35 or an equivalent supply (that
can be gently massaged) to work with the Galaxy V. Any help would be
appreciated. Thanks,
