 Greetings to all hams . I have a rare National NC 101X that I wish to sell , it will be listed on eBay  soon . This receiver is in excellent condition for its age .
The only repairs done to this radio was the replacement of one tube, one paper capacitor, and cleaning the coil catacomb slide mechanism . Last time I used it , it worked flawlessly : tuning was crisp and I was  able to listen to AM , CW and SSB communications although there is some frequency drift as the radio warms up , it is easy to tune on frequency and the audio is great . It comes with a large choke wired to the electromagnet speaker plug - it won't power up without it- and high impedance headphones for listening .I expect it will sell for 400+ US  $ . I will also include a copy of the original service manual that contains schematics , parts description and adjustments procedure . It has been close to twenty years since I used it and you might have to replace more capacitors but it is  easy to work on. If you need more information or pictures please send me an email .
