[Boatanchors] Lookin for Collins 75A4 L6

Greetings;

Working on a 75-A4.

The 80 meter RF tuning coil (T2 - P/N 507 7039 002) was damaged in a
previous life.
Some enterprising soul removed the "carbon",epoxied the break and
rewound the coil (did a good job).
Unfortunately the epoxy invaded the interior of the coil form. This
limits (to the point of breaking the thin wire embedded in the ferrite
slug, fortunately at the adjusting screw) enough excursion so as to
limit the sensitivity at the low end end of 80m more than 10 Db.

As a desperate measure I could try to recore the form using an end mill
( a conventional drill bit will "snag" in the uneven epoxy} or leave
well enough alone as the sensitivity at the upper end is near spec (he
only operates at the high end - AM'er).

I am not a member of the Collins group; I primarily operate, in the
Boatanchors class) Hallicrafters and Drake (and whatever else piques my
interest).

Any assistance will be appreciated.

A very Healthy and Happy New Year 2015 to all.

Dave, W5WP
