Did anyone ever hear of the radioman's daughter who "didit because her 
dahdah didit"?

Years ago in the USAF electronics school when someone washed out because of
not being able to grasp all of the electronics, they were generally sent to
the "ditty bop" school. Ditty bop was the Morse code school.
They went on to become CW radio operators where little electronics knowledge
was required.
