It's interesting how many SSB Nazis appoint themselves
to set the standard for what modes may be used where.  
I love it when they bring-up the "straw man" arguement 
about how "AM is obsolete," as though that had a thing
to do with the issue or AM's suitablity for use.
If they want to play that game, we can toss about 80%
of the modes we use.   
SSB goes back to the 1920s and '30s.
It sounded like crap then, too.

A "thank you and good day, OM" sometimes works
to send the SSB Kilocycle Cops back under their 
moldy rocks. When not, crank it up and "share the frequency."
