[Boatanchors] NC-98 question

I am bringing up an NC-98, and have a question.

The schematics I have show the BFO being connected by a 10
uuF cap to the plate of the last IF amplifier.

The radio I have has the BFO connected by a .5 uuF cap to the
plate of the detector tube. By all appearances, this is as
manufactured, not a modification.

So, the question is, which is the most current version?
