[Boatanchors] Shelby NC hamfest starts this week

Thanks, Nick.  Only been one time (a Saturday) to Shelby.  I'd like a chance to see (and maybe buy) the "good stuff" before it's sold and put away again, so sounds like coming only during the "official" opening hours is not the best strategy.  Are visitors (buyers) allowed in on Thursday and Friday? Hours? Fees?  Are the commercial vendors only there on Sat/Sun? I come from Southport area and have no RV so I'd like to minimize nights in hotel. Thanks for any advice.
