Another TEK that isn't all that small, but will go up to 25Mc is the
5440. The $10 Chinese probes work great!
The 5440 also displays the voltage range selected on the CRT, along with
the time base selected.
You may or may not want one that low in frequency. I haven't found a
need to go any higher. Especially since we are talking about hollow
state radios.
I had one given to me, I used it until the HV section popped the fuse.
Since I couldn't find what was wrong, I bid on another 5440 Mainframe
and won at $100. I simply moved the two dual channel plugins and the
Time Base plugin into the second Mainframe.
That was of course *after* I plugged in the mainframe and ensured that
the mainframe wasn't toast.
Even though it does *not* have a hard cover on the front, the seller
*does* know how to properly pack and ship.
Just my $0.02 worth.
