If you had included his reply information, I would have written him direct.

Keith,

Confirm that the cable is a CX-1599/U and/or that the connectors are 
dogbone, not cathedral style.  I can't imagine whay anyone would have removed the 
backing disk and retaining screw but you will also need two threaded 
retining rings.  I have a lot of the connectors and can salvage the necessary 
parts.
