At one of these events there was a seller listed as N4UE. I hope that was a typo, 'cause I've had this call a while and I was not there... ha ha

I have one of their Monster ones.  It will run 40A.

It is indeed a boatanchor all by itself!

Powerstat is simply the "name" that Superior put on their variacs.

There is no real difference.

The company chose that name to stick on their dataplates.
