[Boatanchors] General Q: HV probe?

Hello folks.  Looking for a decent HV AC and DC probe for boatanchor work. Specifically, I have a transmitter that has 2500V HV transformer windings. I was thinking of a Fluke 80K-40.  I don't need 40KV capability, but it seems that even the lower voltage ones like the 80K-6 is 1000X attenuation just like the -40 so might as well have a safety margin.

Any advice?
