They're not leaving alone people with overhead lines.  We've had power
go out around here for a week.  Two years ago a storm came though,
blew down a lot of trees and some folks waited a week to get their
service restored.   As hams, we are probably able to get by with
generators and such but expecting some 90 year old non-technical
person to get into prepper mode so the company can increase profits is
not right.  I sense corporate decisions being made by MBAs in suits
who don't know what a rotary dial is and think everyone has an iPhone.
