Well I did it. We now have a working PS-2 I found a transformer 325-0-325v m150ma., 6.3 v. at 5 amp. and 5v. 3 amps.
I used the standard connections to the 6X5 for the low voltage getting 410 volt dc.
The high voltage was a tap off of the 325 ac to a voltage doubler circuit producing -800 volts for the CRT. The 5 volt citcuit I wired to a old TV tube brightener transformer. on the back of the CRT socket.I have a good screen and runs cool on the transformer after 6 hours on the bench.
Good hunting for all who need a transformer. I had to mount ours on the back of the cover
because of the small size difference. I used a Hammond #273CZ.
