[Boatanchors] Antenna Rotator Email Reflector - list proliferation

Well ya know,

I subscribe to some lists with a narrower focus than "boat anchors".
Mainly I'm there because other hams with "Kenwood" or "Johnson" radios
are only there and once in a great while I can help one of them out.
Some of the earlier YaeComWoodTec radios are in the category of boat
anchors now so this list covers those, too. My newest radio was made in
the early 80s - no wait - sold to me on clearance sale in the early 80s!
Most (but not all) of my stuff has some tubes if not all tubes. I
suppose this list meets most of my radio wants/needs. Anything I miss
here is covered on the glowbugs or regenrx lists. Still there is some
duplication. The rest are only to help out other people who have radios
where I have experience.

And then there are lists for different bands/modes! Hmmm... no lists for
different colors. Maybe that will be my great opportunity to become a
web *MASTER*.

And so we come to "confession" time. I have a SDR kit that I will be
playing with this winter. I already use DSP sound card software to
enhance the performance of all of my receivers - even my regens. I am
trying to take advantage of the best of two worlds. My second SDR I plan
to use at the I.F. of one of my boat anchors <grin>. And more of my home
brew project use sand!
