I don't know about 1625s but the deal with "sweep tubes" is that they
can take a high Ep pulsed but have real low plate dissipation.  This
is what Stan Adams was saying I think.   For example, the 6DQ5 I
mentioned a few days ago that has a maximum Ep of 6 or 7 KV in pulse
TV service is rated for only 24 watts plate dissipation.
