[Boatanchors] automatic radio help?

I have a tractor radio made by Automatic Radio.
No model number or any number I can find
It resembles a model TR56 I found image of on internet but that is just a 
guess.  It is transistor but pre circuit board era.  Point to point wiring.
This one I'm having difficulty getting to the problem of audio out 
transistors drawing way too much idle current,  and a schematic would help.
Anyone have some background on these that would get me in the direction of a 
schematic?
