Keith,

The grommets suggested by another poster should help quite a bit and you may also want to put additional rubber isolators between the supply and your enclosure.

Also be aware that some household appliances put a lot of garbage on the AC line which will increase transformer noise.  Several years ago I bought one of the ceramic disc heaters and when it is set at its lower output setting you could hear a strong buzz coming from transformers in my vintage radios.  I returned the heater.
