Does anybody have specs on this parasitic choke? I.E., resistor(s) values, coil material and number of turns?

I bought a new L-75 (won at San Diego hamfest in 1980 and never used). Apparently the winner became a silent key and the 3-500Z tube, plate cap, and parasitic choke had been lost before seller got hold of it.

I got some info from another chap who has an L-75 on the bay right now about getting it on 10m.

You have to remove a low-pass filter that's in line between input from exciter and tuned input circuitry.

It's an easy task since there is enough coax to reach from what was the output of the L.P. filter directly to the input terminal of the R/T changeover relay.

Put a terminal lug and lock washer where the mounting lug of the L.P. filter bolted to the chassis.

There is a long screw on the coupling from the bandswitch knob that keeps the bandswitch from going to the place where the 10m input circuit is mounted. A small screwdriver can remove this.

BINGO, you're ready to go on 10 and 12 meters!
