Hi Eugene,

Simply boot the Install CD and partition the drive.  Then install the old 
version 7 then boot the version 8 CD and install it in the other partition. 
You can install as many systems as you wish.

The ROM system does not control the operating system that is installed.

I have a new HP ENVY laptop machine with Windows 8  pre-installed.



I want to install Win 7 and dual boot with Win 8.



However,  I cannot install Win 7 because Win 8 was installed first;  So,  I
tried to format the 1TB drive but cannot format the C: drive because that is
where Windows is installed.



The drive is a Travelstar 5K1000 which is made by Western Digital (They were
no help).



So,  how the heck can I format this drive?
