We see -30 C every winter here with plenty of moisture.  No special paint,
station master has been in service for close to 20 years.

  No experience, but a simple fiberglass station master (Hi-Gain made 
mine and it is 7 feet tall) can easily be painted with that special 
paint that does NOT allow ice to stick, but it must be replaced every 
two or three years.
