[Boatanchors] BC-348P Help

It's 4700 ohms 1/2 watt carbon according to my manual. It also checks that 
value on my M model which should be the same. Part No 42-2.

Here's a site where you can download the full manual. It's a big file 
because this is a high-resolution scan. It will have the schematic, and 
probably a wiring diagram that should enable you to identify the value of 
the burned resistor pretty quickly.
