60 mA idling current is a little bit high. Both Collins and Heath recommend 40 mA for the idling current.

However, the ICAS plate dissipation is higher.  Your transmitter is operating under ICAS conditions

Hi Glen,

Bill was helping me out with my HG-303 and I am running about 50ma to his
40ma plate idle current with KeyUp.  I have also had great advice from Greg
AA8V, who pointed out to me that with the screen resistor =33K at 600V B+,
that about 18 mA of this plate current is cathode current which is where the
metering occurs.  Still the radio runs about 13W of heat in idle with 40ma.
I have the HG-303 working otherwise pretty well now and have turned to the
matching V-10 VFO.  After replacing the seleniums I am not able to get the
OA2 to light up and regulate but I will dig some more on my own before
posting for any advice.  Its probably the supply lytics need replacement.
