Lets please not have the 999th debate on hams and being cheap.

the guy wants to sell an AC-1 kit clone.  he asked for advice on that.
 Ideas on how to make it better--what mods did you do to yours etc.

I think it's a nice idea and I wish him the best with his venture.  I
personally have no interest in one but AC-1s go for (to me insane)
prices so there seems to be some demand and it might be a fun rig.
I'd say one thing--make it so it will work with available crystals
i.e. anything being currently manufactured so buyers don't have to
scrounge at flea markets.

Again, if you want to start offering opinions on hams being cheap
please exercise some restraint or change your subject line so the
focus of this topic stays with the original poster asking for
information about his idea for a product.
