There is also AM activity on 21.420 plus or minus.  Some of the Arizona hams are having a good time up there when the band is doing something other than sleeping.  Haven't heard much about 10 AM although i have worked Europeans on 10 FM simplex and thru the KQ2Q repeater in NYC.  Couple months back they were coming thru from all over Europe with some South Americans as well 

7 Mc rocks give enough drive to multiply up to 10 AM?  7250 = 29.0 and 7255 = 29.020 etc etc and 7275 X 4 = 29.1 still in the AM area of operation

Yes, those are some of the hot spots for AM.
7160 (and occasionally 7190) kHz
Also anywhere form 7285 to 7295 kHz

Of course you can operate AM anywhere that you can operate phone on 40m.

"Use it or lose it" applies in all circumstances.

Especially as noted lately on 28.005 MHz which is now becoming a new "de facto CB 
channel!"

I wonder what happened to "Intruder Watch?"
