Don't forget the uber-cool Raytheon RK series. 
RK-20A was very popular in the 1930s. 
While difficult to find now, the 814 is a near twin to the RK-60, 
save it has a 10 volt filament. 
Very nice looking tube and you can mount it horizontally. 
A single RK-48 can get you 250 Watts out if you can source 
2 KV at 200 mils. RK-39 is practically an 807 clone and is 
in their 1938 Transmit tube manual. 
The RK tubes look like they were reverse-engineered 
alien tech. ;-)
