Of course, the IF cans can be cap shunted always to lower the frequency. At
a minimum, it can be done altering the Q and making the Q higher and the
resulting shape factor narrower. But with some adjustment, some of that can
be gotten back if so desired.

I have a friend who is looking for two IF transformers for a 47 Kc.
Application.
Anybody have an idea or opinion if Halli 50 Kc units (or some from another
brand) can be de-tuned enough to get there?
Or does anybody know of a source for something better?
