My reference is the "Ham Equipment Buyer's Guide" by Alton L. Brand, WA9MBJ. As for RME/Globe: Not only is the HG-303 listed as being from RME, in the October 1962 issue of QST the advertisement for RME products is listed in the advertiser's index as Globe/RME.
In the early 1961 issues of QST Globe is owned by Textron and in the 1962 issues Globe/RME has GC Electronics as the mailing address! Definitely a lot of ownership changes in a very few years!

Yeah, the RME connection is new to me too.
As Bry mentioned, guess there were numerous ham radio mfrs just hanging
by a thread along then.
Can you guys point me toward your refs...maybe a QST, etc.
