Point is a warrant by any other name is still a warrant, law enforcement 
must have a reasonable reason and a judge must approve it.  You walk up to 
my house to attach your buttset and you may be shot or worse,  and I don't 
use cordless sets for the reason you state when the conversation includes 
private information like credit card numbers or any sensitive info.  I also 
shred mail with sensitive info on it.

There are always ways around anything.  Using P.O.T.S. makes it harder for 
the ordinary cell phone hacker to hear and also greatly reduces the 
governments ability.
