Lionel,

Judging from what a 353C-31 is (I had one that I sold some years ago), I 
think it is a 1.2 KC bandwidth 500 KC IF unit for a 75A-1.  But that's 
assuming that the B and C are revision level indicators and not for example IF 
frequency indicators.
