A comment on flea market tools.

First off, I've been buying tools for over 50 years. Junk is NEVER worth
the money.

Much of the new, low cost tools sold at flea markets are junk, and it
takes experience to weed that stuff out. Over the years it has gotten
better, but there is still a lot of Chinese and Indian crap out there.

The Bead Landing stuff from Michaels is certainly not Erem or equal, but
Erem cutters are >$100 each. IMO, they are very servicable.

The only tools I would buy at a flea are good condution used, major US
brands like crimpers, socket sets, etc.

If you buy a soldering iron, remember tips wear out. Be sure you can get
new ones.

YMMV
