Grand I couldn't agree more.. in the mid 70's you could get boatanchor
gear for nothing. I had a fellow pull up in my driveway and tell me "I have
something you may want in the trunk"... in his trunk was a Johnson 500! I
paid him $65 for it and used it for ten years then sold it for $250!
I can remember locals here throwing away 50 gallan drums full of ARC-5 gear.
Tubes were for pennies.. my how things have changed in 40 years..
now I can't even afford to replace the 75A4 and the Globe King 500 I had to
sell to pay all the doctors after my little episode in 2005..
