Subject: [Boatanchors] looking for a 3P4T rotary switch
Hello all. I am presently working on a "power selection" project and I
am looking for a rotary switch with 3 sections (poles) and 4 positions
(one being off). It could have more positions if there is an
adjustable stop mechanism to allow me to restrict selections to 4
positions. It could have more poles - I just won't use them. It
needs to handle 30A per pole.
An example of what could work is the NKK PS3N switch (you can google
that for specs). This is a 3 pole, 12 position switch that has an
adjustable stop. But it is $75-$200 online (incl. Mouser, digikey,
allied, etc).
I am hoping someone out there might have an old switch in their junk
boxes that could do the trick and be something less than $75 if
possible.
Please let me know what you have
Many thanks in advance!
