[Boatanchors] Need CW Oscillator Can For BC-348 Receiver

I'm rebuilding an old BC-348-P receiver and I've discovered that the
variable capacitor inside the CW oscillator (BFO) can has been damaged
beyond repair. I need either the capacitor, or better yet, the entire
can assembly. I've checked the parts lists, and determined that the can
from any version of the BC-348 (EXCEPT for the J, N or Q models) should
work OK. The J, N and Q models have a different BFO circuit entirely.
The variable cap is an APC-type (two 4-40 mounting screws), 3 to 10 pF
with a 1/4" shaft that's approximately 1/2" long. It's connected to the
front panel with a flexible shaft arrangement. Unfortunately, it's a
special cap which has one of the posts which hold the stator projecting
back through the ceramic body parallel to the tuning shaft, and is used
as an external connection to the capacitor stator.
If any of you have an old parts BC-348 and would be willing to remove
the CW OSC can and send it to me, I'd be glad to pay for your time and
trouble. I've already invested way too much time (and a few $$$) into
this project, so I can't abandon it at this point!
Please help!
