I mounted most of the replacement caps in my AR-88 directly on the  
tube sockets and other circuit elements being bypassed.  Eliminated a  
LOT of lead length and the set worked great when I was finished.  Also  
came up with a product detector circuit that worked FB, circuit  
available on request.
