I had a HA-5 years ago in high school when all I had was CW gear.  I
ran mine with a T-60.  It was a great VFO.  I know I never paid any
$200+ for mine like they go for now on ebay.  I probably got it for 10
dollars.  I sold mine in the early 1980s when I was in college and
needed money and had quit operating.  I wish I had it now.  I'm
surprised yours drifts.  Mine was very steady.  However I only
operated 80 and 40 meters.
