Mac, correct. When I worked for IBM, I had one of the Engineers in the EMC lab 'sweep' my connectors and they were flat through 1300 MHz.

I had offered to GIVE a reasonable length of hardline to anyone who purchased my connectors. I provide a steel drill guide, tap, and even a drill bit. Only the steel guide was returnable. I had complete instructions, the connecters (choice of PL/SO or N) all necessary screws, clamps, etc. A chimp could do it. The connectors were 100% machined and only the end of the hardline needed 'work'.... But you did need to drill ONE hole in Aluminum. Too complicated for most appliance ops, I guess.
I had a LOT of interest, but most guys wanted me to:

1- ship the cable for free.
2. GIVE them the connectors.

And some guys wonder where the "cheap sob" moniker comes from!!!

ha ha

As is said, "Aye, and therein lies the rub!"

Availability of adequate connectors to use between
the CATV cable and our "normal" connectors used for
jumpers. Very few have the skill and/or equipment
to build those interfaces.
