[Boatanchors] S-38E knock-off

Hi Jerry,

You sound pretty sure it was an S-38E clone, at least in physical 
appearance, with a wooden cabinet.  I've checked the books here 
including "Radios by Hallicrafters" - Chuck Dachis and "The 
Hallicrafters Story" - Max De Henseler to no avail.

The wooden case made me think of the WR-1000 series 
(http://www.qsl.net/la5ki/big/wr1000.jpg), but they are S-120 based.

Who knows?
